With a long time affinity for painting, drawing and building, Amanda Assad Mounser chose to translate her artistic expression into a wearable context.  In 2009, she founded her namesake jewelry line MOUNSER in New York. 

MOUNSER takes a sculptural approach to design, with inspiration rooted in nature and modernist art, creating pieces that exist between adornment and art object. Each collection distills the organic world into abstract, wearable form — where color, material, and shape converge in an unexpected interplay of light and dimension.

Silhouettes explore balance, proportion, and movement, with attention to both the positive and negative space each piece inhabits. Asymmetry, convertible and multi-option elements, and a studied approach to color theory are also defining pillars of MOUNSER's design language..

In 2019, Amanda and her husband / collaborator Henry Mounser became enamored with the landscape of the west coast and migrated there.  MOUNSER Studio was conceived.  Based in Los Angeles, MOUNSER Studio builds upon the sculptural foundations of the brand expanding the offering to include a beautiful high-polished sterling silver collection, and an art object assortment.
